Class Reflections
I think technology is important because there aren't many things in the world that don't use some sort of technology. It makes advances every day so it's important to keep up with it so you aren't lost in the future.
Even over the last five years Internet has gotten much faster, phones smaller and easier to access, and everything became more portable. I think that over the next five years, everything will become faster and easier to use. Ipods, cell phones, computers, GPS systems, and more will become better quality.
For school I use many Microsoft Office applications, Internet search engines such as google, and I use blogger also. At work I could imagine people using google, Microsoft Office, and possibly a social networking site to connect employees.
For personal use I use google, Microsoft, many social networks (twitter, facebook, etc.) Internet reading/writing websites, and igoogle. I don't spend much time online anymore, but if I ever get online I go straight to one of these places.
I plan on continuing my blog after I finish Online A. I think that the blogging was fun and I like the many uses it could have. I plan on making it a music blog though, where I can post many opinions and videos on what people think about certain music.
I think blogs have the most use for future learning because you can learn about other opinions and facts on a subject. I don't think that Delicious, avatars, or podcasts are something I'll be using in the future though.
In the class my favorite tool to create was my igoogle. I love all the gadgets I have on it. It allows me to have everything in one place. From my email to my calendar I can access it all on igoogle. My least favorite tool was the podcasts. I don't see myself using them.

Zoo Review
The Waikiki Aquarium is definitely somewhere I'd like to visit. It's located in Honolulu, Hawaii (and who wouldn't like to go to Hawaii?)
I chose to research this aquarium because I thought I'd learn about exotic animals.
The zoo's website was very helpful for collecting information therefore, it was the only website I used. It gave a lot of information on the animals and their exhibits. It was also very easy to navigate. The zoo's website also provided pictures for each animal/exhibit.
The website provides a "zoo cam" where you can watch the animals live. I did not try the cam though so I can not provide much information about it.

I think they could add more information on memberships, because I could not find prices on the site without downloading a file. I also think they could have added more pictures.
